DAY 1 / COLAB 1 – Curator Tim Kerr from Brainstorm Design introduces creative duo—Kevin, a Wongi man and visual artist, and Clare, a non-Aboriginal woman and writer – are often walking between two worlds. While the work they make together is not always in the space of Aboriginal culture, this is the topic they’re focusing on today, to help businesses and creators see the value of this work and share the way they work with Aboriginal culture respectfully. This session is about how we work in this space – working alongside Aboriginal artists and respectfully consulting with community, while also discerning which stories are who’s to tell.
